There is only 1 week to go until the inaugural National Health and Physical Education Day on Wednesday September 5.
National Health & Physical Education Day promotes the importance of H&PE in the Australian Curriculum, and highlights the importance of H&PE to the learning and development of children and young people. It will be a day for your school to showcase its successful H&PE program.
Schools can still be involved in National Health & Physical Education Day celebrations. The best way to celebrate is to take part in the adidas Run Around the World event. All students need to do is run, jog, or walk at least 1km each on the day. Already we have more than 600 schools & 150,000 students registered to take part - that equates to over 3 laps around the world!
