How do I apply for membership?

There are 2 ways to apply for ACHPER membership.

You can download the Membership Application Form located on the Join ACHPER section of our website, complete the form and send it in to us at the National office with payment (payment can be made via cheque/money order, EFT, Visa or Mastercard).
 

Alternatively, you can apply online (Visa/Mastercard or EFT payment only). 

You will need to state your name and membership or invoice number when making EFT payments.

I have applied for membership but I haven't heard anything. What is my membership status?

We aim to process memberships weekly, however from time to time, delays may occur.

Shortly after your membership is processed, you will be sent a membership package in the mail.

Please note that your ACHPER Membership cannot be processed until payment has been received.

I am having trouble logging into ACHPER Members Online. Why is this?

There are a few reasons as to why you may be having difficulty accessing ACHPER Members Online.

Firstly, have you registered your email address with us? If not, please contact us with these details.

Otherwise, your log-in details are:

Username: is the email address you have provided us with

Password: your postcode (unless you have previously accessed ACHPER Members Online and changed this to a password of your choice).

I am a member. Can I get a print copy of the Active & Healthy Magazine and/or Asia-Pacific Journal for Health, Sport & Physical Education rather than an electronic copy?

In 2011, we are happy to provide members with a complimentary hard copy should you request it. 

Please contact us should you require this.

Please note, that this will be reviewed again at the end of 2011 and this service may not be available in 2012.

What methods of payment are accepted?

There are several ways payment can be made to the Healthy Lifestyles Bookshop. We accept payment via cheque/money order, credit card (Visa or Mastercard), cash or EFT.

How do I place an order?

Both personal and organisational orders can be placed with the Healthy Lifestyles Bookshop.  
  1. Ordering Online - Place your order through our secure website by clicking Shop Online when visiting www.healthylifestylesbookshop.com.au. You will be taken step by step through the simple ordering procedure. You will receive email notification when your order has been received. 
  2. By Fax, Mail or Email - Download and fill in the order form here. Or alternatively educational institutions can use your own order form. 
  3. Come to our shop – Feel free to come in and browse through our range. Click here for opening hours and location details.

How long will it take for my order to be dispatched?

We aim to dispatch all orders within 7 days. However, if we do not have the resources in stock or you have a large order, we will need to order the resources in from the publisher, which can take between 1-2 weeks.

What postage charges apply to bookshop orders?

Deliveries within the Adelaide Metropolitan area incur a $6.95 (inc GST) postage fee. All other areas have a $7.70 (inc GST) postage fee, plus $1.95 (inc GST) for every book thereafter, up to a maximum of $20.00.

Orders with 10 or more of the same text, will not incur a postage fee.

When installing AFEA, it asks me for a product code, where do I find this?

When you first install your AFEA software, you will need to fill in your school name, but leave the Product Code section blank. Keep hitting the ‘Tab’ key on your keyboard until you reach the registration screen. Please complete these details and either select to fax or email this through to us. We will then generate a product code for you and email it back to you. We aim to send through this product code within 24hrs.
