adidas Run Around The World
The adidas Run Around The World event was the premier event being held on National H&PE Day.
Thank you to the 588 schools and 130,203 students who took part in the event and helped to create an Australian record of the most students running, jogging or walking on the same day!
The goal of the event was to have a minimum of 40,100 students involved in running, jogging or walking at least 1km each - equivalent of one full lap around the world.This was well exceeded, with the 130,203 students involved being equivalent to 3.25 laps of the world. See below for a list of the schools who completed the event.
The adidas Run Around The World event will be held again in 2013 on National Health & PE Day (Wednesday September 4th 2013).
This is a free event, is easy to organise and can also be used as a fundraiser for your school. Details on how to register for the 2013 event will be available shortly.
