Australian Sports Commission

ACHPER has undertaken a consultancy agreement to advise and assist the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) with the development of their Sport and Education activities. This will involve working closely with the ASC and National Sporting Organisations as they seek to work closer with schools to support curriculum and professional learning.

One important benefit of this relationship will be sitting at the table with Sport, Education and Health at a Federal Government level (ASC, DEEWR and DoHA) in regards to the inclusion of health and physical education and in particular physical education and sport in the National Curriculum.

National Sporting Organisations are invited to provide information and articles of interest for promotion in our e-newsletter or Active and Healthy Magazine.
